Ylang ylang extra is the most potent essential oil derived from the ylang ylang flower. This oil is often used as a top note inperfumes, such as Chanel Number Five.

Ylang ylang's heady, aromatic scent is fruity, flowery, and rich. The ylang ylang flower is used to make several types of

essential oil, via steam distillation.

Ylang Ylang works well with a range of other oils, and is a beautiful oil to blend. We recommend blending with Lavender,

Frankincense, Bergamot, Jasmine or Rose essential oils for best results.

Ylang Ylang Oil , Extra essential oils are used as medium-to-base notes in perfume, and to make products such as cologne, lotion, food flavoring, and soap.

Whereas essential oils are produced by distillation, boiling or pressing, absolutes are produced through solvent extraction, or more traditionally, through enfleurage. Used in perfumery and aromatherapy.
