SLA(StereoLithography)

  • SLA is a layer-by-layer manufacturing process that solidifies a liquid photopolymer resin using ultraviolet light to build 3D objects. Parts produced via this method offer precise dimensions and represent the first commercially available 3D printing technique.
  • Printing Material: Photosensitive Resin

  • Vacuum casting involves creating a silicone mold from a prototype—such as 3D printed or machined components—under reduced pressure conditions. This process then fills the mold with materials like PU, ABS, or similar substances to produce an exact replica of the original design.
  • Material: ABS, PU, PVC, silicone, transparent ABS
  • Strength: Both strength and hardness fall short compared to CNC hand components. Standard PU is quite fragile, lacking resilience and showing weak performance under heat. ABS offers superior strength, improved formability, and simpler processing after manufacturing.
  • The final product is prone to shrinking and warping; its precision typically reaches just 0.2mm. Furthermore, vacuum cast hand components withstand a maximum temperature of roughly 60°C, falling short of CNC-made parts in terms of durability and hardness.
