The CY78XX-1 family features three-terminal, positive-output regulators capable of delivering substantial current even under minimal input-to-output voltage differences. Enhanced efficiency and precise voltage stability result from advanced CMOS design and laser-adjusted component calibration.
The CY78XX-1 includes a precision voltage reference, an error amplifier, and a current-regulated output stage. Its reaction to sudden load changes is faster than in previous models in the lineup. Available in SOT89-3, SOT23-3, and SOT23-5 packages.
