We provide Fiber Optic Converters in the Indian market as per the requirements of different industries. These converters are marketed under the brand name of LCON RS485. The LCON interface is an active coupling of two-wired RS485 bus systems along with the fiber optics data transmission segments.
Automation tasks
The LCON converters are placed inside the cabinets with IP20 environment for complete data transmission (e.g. with PROFIBUS). These fiber optics can be used over the copper cabling. As per the standards, the field bus participant comes with an electric interface RS485 and connectors are D-Sub with 9-pins.
Optical networking
These LCON converters are designed as per the individual requirements such as fiber optics action radius, maximum data rate and networking structure demands. Moreover, this LCON converts the arriving signals at the bus field device (electric cabinet, box, SPS) into electrical signals and the signals that are leaving the bus participant into optical ones.
