Wet chemical system consists of a supply of wet chemical stored in one or more Cyinder and Valve Assembies. Each cyinder is pressure acivated by a System ValveActuator.The system actuated either automatically and/or manualy, using mechanica,electrical,or pressure actuation devices. Upon actuation, the wet chemicaldischarged through agent distribution piping and specially designed nozzles positioned throughout the protected area.
Wet chemical(potasium acetate, potassium carbonate,or potassium citratel extinquishes the fire by forming an air-excluding soapyfoam blanket over the buming oithrouoh the chemical proces of saponification (a base reacting wth a fat to form a soap) and by the water content cooling the oil below its ignition .To protect modemcommercial kitchen from potential threats like open lame,red hot cooking surface and heavily grease laden environment which in turn leads to oil and grease fires. Thesystem design complies with NFPA 96 and NFPA 17A Standards
