A copper terminal lug serves as a core electrical part that firmly joins a copper wire to a designated location—like a switchgear terminal, transformer, busbar, another cable, or a ground reference. It ensures stable, low-impedance, and physically strong connections within power transmission and distribution networks.

Material: Manufactured from high-conductivity, high-purity electrolytic copper (typically meeting ASTM B124 or equivalent standards). This ensures excellent electrical performance and current-carrying capacity.

Tin Plating: The vast majority of copper lugs are electro-tin plated. This plating provides crucial benefits:

Corrosion Resistance: Protects the underlying copper from oxidation and corrosion, which can increase resistance and cause overheating.
