This Flame Propagation Tester is made according to the US Fire Department NFPA 701 method.It is suitable for single or multiple layers of fabric panel for gram more heavily than 700g / m2 (21od/yd2) fabrics, and polyethylene-coated fabric etc.

Test Method 1 vs Test Method 2... What's the difference?
Test Method 1 applies to materials with a density less than or equal to 700/b/m². Items that fall within this category would be draperies/curtains or other fabrics used as window treatments.
