The Production process
The base material of Degofon ceiling products is stone wool (resin bonded mineral wool) produced according to the principles of a volcanic eruption. By means of patented technology, stone is melted and transformed into wool with binders being added. In the following processes, the wool is shaped and cut according to specification and turned into ceiling tiles of various sizes, thicknesses and densities. Finally, a finishing treatment is applied giving the tiles an elegant and attractive surface finish.

SAG AND MOLD/MILDEW RESISTANCE.
Dego stonewool ceiling tiles maintain sag, mold, and mildew resistance and are recommended for areas subject to high humidity, up to but not including standing water and outdoor spaces. Typical ceiling applications include offices, corridors, retail, and hospitality. Also appropriate for a basement ceiling.

High performance ceiling tiles
DEGOFON stonewool ceiling products have resin bonded mineral wool core and consists of at least %98 rockwool. With its patented technology, solid rock is melted and being converted to wool. Then the wools are cut with different shapes, sizes and densities and applied with asurface finish and finally turned into different .DEGOFON ceilings - being made from unadulterated resin bonded mineral wool - are between 40-80% lighter than traditional wet felted mineral fibre & gypsum ceiling tiles. Besides; this pure structure of the material makes DEGOFON ceiling unique in terms of 4 main properties:
class A1 Fire Resistance
100% Relative Humidity
Excellent Acoustic Performance NRC0.85
Antibacterial properties
As stone wool is non hygroscopic, the tiles withstand up to 100% relative humidity and maintain dimensional stability. The stone wool does not contain organic nutrients and so is not attacked by rot, fungi or bacteria. Thanks to DEGOFON stonewool ceilingexcellent humidityresistance and extremely low susceptibility to microorganisms, the brown stains those occurred because of bacteria pukes are never seen on DEGOFON stonewool ceiling surface.
