Smart Mini Bar freezer Maintenance Tips

1. Smart mini bar freezer may be clean each two months

Perform a bi-monthly inspection and cleaning of the dust shield to prevent inefficient cooling. Gently remove debris using a vacuum or soft brush; avoid sharp-edged instruments to prevent harm to the dust shield.

Before storing the freezer for an extended period, ensure the compartment is thoroughly cleaned and all internal parts are completely dried using a hair dryer. Store it in a sealed, dry environment free from exposure to corrosive fumes. Avoid leaving it outdoors or in direct open air.

Prior to cleaning the mini bar, ensure the power is switched off and the power cord is unplugged. Avoid rinsing the device with running water. Refrain from using any acidic or alkaline substances; instead, opt for a neutral cleaning agent for best results.

How to prevent "Freezer Disease"

The mini bar includes a freezing feature. Should the room temperature drop below a certain level, the freezer will automatically turn off within a few minutes after being powered on. If the surrounding temperature falls beneath the set point, the freezing mode will fail to activate. Therefore, ensure the freezer is not turned on when the ambient temperature is below 5ºC.

Many households favor multi-function power strips due to their ease of use in daily living. However, plugging a mini bar and other household devices into the same strip poses significant safety risks.

Let's give a sample with mini bar and normal television:

Turning on both the mini bar and TV simultaneously creates a massive surge in electrical demand. The mini bar draws a startup current roughly 5 to 10 times higher than its operating level, while the TV’s startup current ranges from 7 to 10 times its normal consumption. This sudden spike can overwhelm household outlets and wiring, potentially damaging the devices. Additionally, the mini bar emits electromagnetic interference during operation, which might disrupt the TV’s performance.

How to clean frost in the freezer

The rear section of the freezer serves as the cooling zone, so frost buildup there is completely expected. Excessive frost or ice can form due to high ambient moisture levels. Once the appliance shuts down and the internal temperature increases, the defrost cycle begins automatically, and condensed water drains through the designated outlet. If you notice any ice or frost accumulating on the back panel, please refer to the provided guidance.

During hot seasons, ice buildup tends to form due to moist air. Typically, drawer cleaning should occur every two months. The built-in defrost tool is ideal for this task. Should you lack the dedicated tool, a plastic one is recommended instead of any sharp-edged instruments to prevent scratching the interior surfaces or tubing. We suggest letting it thaw naturally, using warm water, or employing a fan to speed up the process. In colder months, the defrosting time may extend beyond two months.

How to remove odors in the minibar?

Over time, the freezer may develop an unpleasant odor. For mild cases, wash it using a non-abrasive, neutral cleaner and finish by wiping with alcohol. Avoid iodine, as it can stain the glass surface.

Wipe the freezer gently with a soft cloth, then place a glass of white wine inside, seal the door and leave it closed for 24 to 28 hours to eliminate odors.

How to prevent the generation of odor

After period of time of using, food left in the freezer for long time, deterioration will generate odor. We share several methods here:

6.Put medicinal stone bag inside the freezer, 10 minutes later, take it out.

7.Put one open bottle of vinegar inside the freezer to remove the odor

8.Put baking soda in open bottle, and put inside the freezer to remove odor

9.Put bowl of yellow wine inside the freezer. Take it out three days later.

10.Put charcoal bag inside the freezer to remove odor

Clean of the mini bar

Use beer to wipe down the freezer and its glass surfaces. The natural acids in beer help break down grime effectively. Since food is commonly stored in the freezer, using beer for cleaning ensures a safe and hygienic process.

2.Beer is colloidal liquid .It may clean glass brighter but not leaving any fiber.

Maintenance method for door seal

You may coat with talcum powder on seal surface, and contact points between unit body and seal to protect the seal.

Trouble shooting: 

Inspection method for not cooling

1. Did not turn on the cooling function or wrong setting temperature.

2.Sensor failure,  sensor has broken circuit or short circuit , or wrong specification setting

3.magnetic valve failure, coil in magnetic valve is burned or failed to reverse

4.PCB failure, PCB can get input or output signal

5.Compressor failure, compressor cannot start

6.Refrigerant system failure, any block or leakage with refrigerant system.

Inspection on not-starting

Verify that the incoming power supply falls within the 187-242V range. Should the voltage fall outside this interval, install a voltage stabilizer or contact a certified electrician for assistance

3.Please check the ambient temperature, if ambient temperature is lower than 5ºC,the compressor of the unit starts protection under low temperature.

4.Please check if there is any short circuit in the unit

5.Please check if the compensation switch for low temperature is turning on, check if there is any failure with the compensation switch

6.Please check if the setting temperature is in the reasonable range. Please check if the controller is available

7.Please check if there is any failure with compressor or compressor accessories

8.Please check if there is any failure with PCB, inverter board, display board or power board.
