What's the Platecoil® plate ice machine?
Plate ice machine is a kind of ice machine that consists of many paralleled arranged fiber laser welded pillow plate evaporators. In the plate ice machine, the water need to be cooled to delivery to the top of pillow plate evaporators, and flows freely on the external surface of the evaporator plates. Refrigerant is pumped to the internal surface of the evaporator plates and cools the water down until it is frozen, building uniformly thick ice on external surface of the evaporator plates.
When the ice on both sides of the plate is reach a certain thick, then hot gas is injected into the Laser Plates, causing the plates to warm up and release the ice from the plates. The ice falls into a storage tank and breaks into smaller pieces. This ice can be transported by a transport screw to the desired location.
