We are looking to establish a long-term procurement relationship for red lentils to be imported into Bangladesh. Please find attached our detailed product specifications and quality requirements.
We require red lentils that meet the following standards:
• Crop year: Current year's fresh crop only
• Grain size: 3.5 to 4.9 mm diameter (measured using sieve)
• Split grain: Max 7%, with broken pulses not exceeding 3%
• Dirt: Max 0.2%
• Damaged/touched grain: Max 0.5%
• Foreign food grains: Max 0.2%
• Unripe grain: Max 0.5%
• Moisture content: Max 12%
• Unhusked grain: Max 1.0%
• Insect damage: Max 0.30%
• General appearance: Clean, bold, bright, and shining grains, free from bad odour
Our minimum order quantity is 20,000 metric tons per month, and we are seeking your best possible price on a CIF Chattogram (Bangladesh) basis.
