KYANGALANYI COFFEE LIMTED

Kyagalanyi Coffee Limited, a subsidiary of Volcafe, stands as a premier coffee processor and exporter in Uganda since 1992. It is Uganda's oldest licensed coffee exporter. They source, process, and export both Arabica and Robusta coffee. The company exports approximately 15% of Uganda's coffee production to over 30 countries. Kyagalanyi played a role in re-seeding with wilt-resistant varieties of Robusta coffee and works with over 12,000 farmers across the country to improve the yields and quality of their coffee through sustainability initiatives. Kyagalanyi has invested in processing facilities in Kampala and Mbale. They are dedicated to sustainability and ethical practices, collaborating with local farmers. Kyagalanyi was named the 'Best Arabica Exporter of the Year' by the Ugandan Coffee Development Authority (UCDA) in October 2023.
