Freshdi received 28 buyer inquiries for Honey in the 30 days to 26 October 2026, down 92.6% from the previous 30 days.

218 suppliers are actively offering Honey on the platform, with 23 of them updating their listings in the last 30 days. This shows a steady level of engagement—suppliers are not just static, but actively refining their offerings, which means buyers can expect current, accurate details on quality, packaging, and sourcing. With such a broad base, buyers have multiple options to compare and negotiate terms without being locked into a single supplier. 730 active listings mean a wide range of Honey grades, flavors, and packaging options are available at once. A buyer can find a match for specific needs—like organic certification or regional origin—without having to start from scratch or wait for a custom quote to be created. Honey is sourced from 53 countries, with India contributing 14.2% of the supply. This geographic diversity gives buyers flexibility to explore different regional profiles, from floral varieties to processing methods, and reduces reliance on any one origin for quality or availability. Only 28 buyer inquiries came in over the last 30 days, a sharp 92.6% drop from the previous period. This suggests current demand is low, which could mean suppliers are underutilized or buyers are taking a pause—offering a rare window to secure volume at competitive pricing before demand rebounds.

How stable is this supply base?

Three separate questions, answered in order: is the product fresh, is the market busy, and can the sellers be trusted.

49 of the 218 suppliers joined in the last 12 months, a mix of long-standing and new suppliers. Buyers have access to both established sellers with proven records and newer ones building their presence. The new suppliers bring fresh options, but their history is shorter, so buyers need to assess their consistency before committing. Review each supplier’s listing history before reaching out to a new seller.

Methodology

How the numbers on this page are produced, and what they do not cover.

Source

Every figure comes from Honey listings, supplier quotes and buyer requests posted on Freshdi in the 365 days to 18 October 2026 - 730 active listings, 49 buyer requests, 63 source documents, and 428 supply observations from the last 90 days. External export benchmarks are cited separately and never mixed into Freshdi figures.

How ranges are read

Price and MOQ ranges are the interquartile range - the middle half of quotes, a quarter below and a quarter above - with the median reported alongside. A Honey type is priced only once it holds at least 5% of supply price quotes and 3 priced listings with a real range; below that it is not listed. Buyer prices are compared only once there are at least 5 of them.

One basis only

All prices are FOB, in USD per metric ton; quotes on other Incoterms are converted to a FOB equivalent. Freshdi does not hold a CIF price series for Honey, so no landed-cost comparison is possible from this data.

Gaps in percentage points

Demand-versus-supply differences in trade and payment term shares are stated in percentage points, and origin rows add buyer requests per listing. Each figure carries its market scope - global - beside the number rather than in a footnote.

What counts as what

Product freshness counts listings created or updated. Supplier activity counts sellers by their last update. The two are different measurements and will not agree.

Update cadence

Freshdi reprocesses market data every hour, with one snapshot a day for trends. This page's figures, certification coverage included, refresh every 14 days on a rolling 365-day window.
