Agni Veiga Addressable Fire Alarm Repeater Panel

The Agni Veiga FAP-2001 Network Active Repeater Panel provides centralized system visibility and control at secondary monitoring locations across a building or campus. Whether the master fire alarm control panel is installed in a secured basement plant room or a remote wing of the facility, the FAP-2001 displays the live status of the addressable fire alarm system at critical locations such as security desks, reception lobbies, guard stations, and emergency command points—ensuring that personnel can quickly identify and respond to fire alarm events.

As an Active Repeater Panel, the FAP-2001 communicates over the Veiga RS-485 network, with the FAP-3002 network card required, and supports up to 32 nodes, with a network distance of up to 1.2 km per node. This makes it suitable for both individual buildings and large campus-wide fire alarm networks involving multiple fire alarm control panels.

Designed for reliable operation in demanding environments, the FAP-2001 is housed in a mild steel IP30 enclosure and features a soft-touch keypad and large backlit graphical LCD for clear system status and event monitoring. Its configuration makes it suitable for applications including reception areas, hospital nursing stations, factory control rooms, and government security checkpoints where dependable fire alarm monitoring is essential.

The FAP-2001 operates directly from 28V DC, supplied through the main panel’s auxiliary supply or an SMPS at the repeater location. This simplifies power integration during an Addressable Repeater Panel installation. For event tracking and documentation, the panel maintains a 4,000-event time-and-date-stamped log, providing facility teams with a detailed audit trail for compliance reporting and post-incident review.

The FAP-2001 meets EN54-2, EN54-4, and IS 2189-2175:1988 standards and carries CE and ERTL/NABL accreditation, supporting its use in fire alarm system installations across ministry offices, hospitals, university campuses, and industrial townships in India.
