After coconut shells are crushed, washed, and dewatered, the fine coir particles are dried and pressed into compact bricks for easy storage and transport. When hydrated, the block expands into loose, fluffy growing media with high water retention and good air flow. Coco peat bricks are widely used as a base substrate for horticulture, hydroponic systems, nurseries, and soil conditioning. They are lightweight, consistent in quality, and easy to handle.
