Copper cathodes

Product Overview

We offer Copper Cathodes Grade A (Minimum 99.97% Cu) with pricing based on the London Metal Exchange (LME) benchmark. The agreed commercial terms are as follows:

• Price: LME Cash Price – 8% Discount
• The final payable price is calculated using the LME rate on the agreed pricing day or averaging period. The commercial discount applies both to the trial and the long-term supply contract.
• Pricing can be fixed or floating depending on buyer preference.

Delivery Terms

• FCA – Dar es Salaam, Tanzania: The seller delivers the material to the bonded warehouse or designated facility in Dar es Salaam, fully prepared for export. All transport from the mine, documentation (ownership, T1s, certificates of origin, release orders) and export clearances are handled by the seller.
• CIF Option Available: If the buyer requires end-to-end logistics, the seller can also arrange CIF delivery to China (or other nominated ports), including sea freight booking and marine insurance. CIF terms can be added to the contractual shipments upon request.

Quality & Inspection

• Product: Copper Cathodes, Grade A, 99.97%–99.99% Cu.
• The buyer may conduct full physical inspection, sampling, and verification at the bonded warehouse in Dar es Salaam before payment.
• Accepted inspection agencies: SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek, or any mutually agreed third-party inspector.
• Payment is triggered only after issuance of the official inspection report confirming the agreed specifications.

Payment Terms

• Trial Shipment: 100% TT (MT103) payment after inspection at the bonded warehouse. No DLC required for the trial.
• Contractual Monthly Supply: Payments to be secured by DLC (Documentary Letter of Credit) or SBLC issued by a top-tier bank.
• CIF shipments (if chosen) will follow standard DLC procedures, ensuring secure payment and smooth shipment release.

Trial Quantity

• Maximum trial quantity offered: 200 MT.
• Trial is intended to confirm the buyer’s satisfaction with product quality, delivery procedures, inspection workflow, and seller performance.
• Upon successful completion of the trial, monthly quantities can be scaled up based on the buyer’s requirements and the seller’s capacity.
