Green Coffee Beans

Green coffee beans are unroasted, raw coffee seeds harvested from the coffee cherry and processed (e.g., washed, dried). Unlike the roasted beans we typically see, green coffee beans retain a high concentration of antioxidants, especially chlorogenic acid, which significantly diminishes during roasting. They possess a herbaceous, slightly earthy aroma and a subtly bitter taste. While primarily used for roasting into daily coffee, green coffee beans are also recognized for their potential health benefits, particularly in weight management and blood sugar regulation, often found in extract form.
