These red beans originate from Tanzania, a country well known for its favorable climate, fertile soils, and long-standing agricultural practices that support the production of high-quality pulses. Tanzanian red beans are widely appreciated in both regional and international markets for their consistent size, good cooking characteristics, and rich nutritional value.

The make/season is 2025, indicating that the beans are sourced from the most recent harvest. Fresh-season produce is important in the pulses trade because it ensures better color retention, lower infestation risk, longer shelf life, and superior taste. Beans from the current season are also less likely to have storage-related defects, making them more attractive to importers and end users.

The maximum moisture content is 14%, which is an internationally accepted standard for safely stored and traded beans. Maintaining moisture at or below this level helps prevent mold growth, fungal contamination, and spoilage during storage and ocean transit. It also ensures the beans remain stable in weight and quality, reducing post-shipment losses and protecting buyer interests.

With a purity level of 98.5%, these red beans contain very minimal foreign matter such as stones, dust, husks, or other grains. High purity reflects effective cleaning and careful handling throughout harvesting, processing, and packaging. This specification is particularly important for buyers who require consistent quality for further processing, retail packing, or direct consumption.

The beans are machine cleaned, meaning modern cleaning equipment has been used to remove impurities, broken seeds, and light or damaged grains. The minimum order quantity (MOQ) is 24 metric tons, which corresponds to a full container load (FCL). Regarding payment terms, two options are offered. The first is 30% down payment with the remaining 70% paid against the Bill of Lading (BL) and shipping documents, providing security to both parties during shipment. The second option is 100% Letter of Credit (LC) at sight, an internationally recognized and secure payment method that guarantees payment upon presentation of compliant documents.
