Part of the Triple Cask Matured range from The Macallan, this 12 year old Speyside single malt is crafted using a combination of European and American sherry seasoned oak casks and American ex-bourbon oak casks. The combination creates a light and vibrant whisky with a smooth character full of citrus fruits, vanilla and fresh oak.The nose is complex with vanilla, melon and lemon zest. The palate has more citrus and vanilla, along with a light toasted oak note and some nutmeg. The finish has tropical fruits and lingering oak spice.
