Group Sagun produces and processes, fresh and frozen products in her 17 facilities located across Turkey. We farm sea bream, sea bass, rainbow trout, salmon trout, and Blue FinTuna in Turkey.
Regarding red-fleshed salmon trout, we farm them in the Black Sea. We also farm red-fleshed salmon trout in freshwater lakes.
Additionally, we can supply rainbow trout (white-fleshed) in portion sizes, whole and gutted.
We start farming our salmon trout in freshwater until they reach 600-900 grams. They are fed with our own premium feed, ensuring they develop the desired red color. After this stage, some of these trout are transferred to the sea, where they continue growing until the harvest season.
The harvest must be carried out before the summer, as the air and water temperatures in the Black Sea rise to levels that prevent further growth.
Our standard size distribution is:
0.9 - 1.3 kg
1.3 - 1.8 kg
1.8 - 2.7 kg
2.7 - 3.6 kg
And the preparation we offer is H&G (headed and gutted, i.e., gutted and headless).
Furthermore, we work with our partner Biomar, a world leader in animal feed production, ensuring that our trout are raised with top-quality feed developed using advanced technology.
