UREA is a spherical white solid. It is an organic amide molecule containing 46% nitrogen in the form of amine groups. UREA is infinitely soluble in water and is suitable for use as an agricultural and forestry fertilizer as well as for industrial applications which require a high quality nitrogen source. It is not a poison to mammals and birds and is a benign and safe chemical to handle.

Advantages of fertilizer urea

Urea can be applied to soil as a solid or solution or to certain crops as a follar spray. Phosphoric acid

Phosphoric acid is used as a liquid fertilizer which enhances the delivery of phosphorus to the roots of plants. Liquid Phosphoric acid contains 54% of phosphorus in the form of P2O5.

Single superphosphate:

contain 16-18% P2O5

Double superphosphate:

contain 32- 36% P2O5

Triple superphosphate:

contain 46-48% P2O5

Mono Ammonium phosphate:

contain 6-48 % P2O5 Depending on the percentage of impurities in the acid

Diammonium phosphate:

contain 28.2% N, and up to 53.78 % P2O5

Citric acid soluble phosphatic fertilizers or dicalcium phosphate:

Basic slag 14 – 18% P2O5

Dicalcium phosphate 34 – 39% P2O5

Rhenania phosphate 23 – 26% P2O5

Raw and steamed bone -meal

Water and citric acid insoluble phosphatic fertilizers or tricalcium phosphate

Rock phosphate 20 – 40% P2O5

Raw bone -meal 20 – 25% P2O5 & 3 – 4%N

Raw and steamed bone -meal 22% P2O5
