CALROSE RICE

Calrose Rice - Grain Viet Nam is round, medium-grain rice with a short texture, beautiful glossy grain, and white. It becomes slightly soft and sticky when cooked, making it ideal for dishes such as sushi, soups, or salads.

HOW TO COOK CALROSE RICE

1. Cook on the Stove

Measure 1 cup Calrose rice under cool running water until the water runs clear. Put it into a small saucepan, the ratio of rice and water is 1: 1/3 and a little salt to taste; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce the heat to low, and simmer until the water is absorbed, about 20 minutes. Wait around 10 mins and then enjoy the meal.

2. By an Instant Pot

Measure 1 cup Calrose rice under cool running water until the water runs clear. Put it into the pot with the ratio of rice and water is 1 : 1 and a little salt to taste in the pot. Lock the lid in place and set to cook under Highpressure for 6 minutes. Allow the pressure to fully naturally release (about 10 minutes).

3. By a Rice Cooker

Measure the rice with the cup then rinse it in a fine-mesh strainer. Add the rinsed, drained rice to the pot, then add salt to taste and water to the level indicated for white rice, a ratio of 1 cup rice to 1 1/4 cups water. Set to cook using the white rice mode. Letthe rice stand in the closed cooker for 10 to 30 minutes after cooking.
