Production and pelleting.

For the manufacture of pellets, the company uses sawdust and chips from the area within a 200 km radius of the plant. The manufacturing process begins with a first chip to obtain a 16 mm chip. of size which subsequently passes on to a low temperature 70aC belt drying which produces a higher quality pellet because both the lignin and the physical properties of the sawdust and chip are altered to a lesser extent than a high temperature drying such as a tromel.

Once the chip and sawdust are dried, they pass through a refining mill in such a way that an ideal granulometry is obtained and that allows us without any type of additive and only with the compression of the matrix and pressure exerted by the rollers inside the pelletizer to obtain a quality pellets which generates less waste and has a higher calorific value.

Storage

Storage is done by arranging the bags on wooden pallets, protecting them from soil moisture and allowing their movement with specialized trucks or forklifts. These wooden pallets are stacked in a dry, cool and well-ventilated warehouse that prevents any damage or deformation of our sacks. They are never exposed to the open air, which allows to preserve the quality of the pellet in long storage times safely and reliably
