Potassium Pyrophosphate, with CAS No.:7320-34-5, molecular formula, is an inorganic alkaline phosphate salt, appearing as white granular or crystalline powder, odorless, easily soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol and organic solvents. Two mainstream grades: Food Grade & Industrial Grade.
Food Grade FCC/GB standard
Main conten: ≥98.0%
Arsenic(As): ≤3ppm; Heavy Metal(Pb): ≤10ppm; Fluoride(F): ≤10ppm
Industrial Grade
Purity ≥96.0%, low heavy metal impurity, customized granular mesh: 20~80mesh as customer request
3. Core Application Food Industry: Used as food additive, water retention agent, emulsifier in processed meat, seafood, canned food, dairy products; stabilizer for beverage & cheese processing, improves meat water-binding capacity to avoid dehydration.
Electroplating Industry: Main complexing agent for alkaline non-cyanide zinc plating & copper plating, optimizes plating layer brightness and uniformity, removes metal impurities from plating bath.
Detergent & Water Treatment: Excellent chelating agent to bind Ca/Mg ions, formulated into industrial cleaning agent, boiler water softener, prevents scale formation in pipeline.
Chemical & Ceramic: Raw material for phosphate compound synthesis; ceramic glaze dispersant to prevent glaze agglomeration.
