We are looking for 12 purebred Boer goats, 6 males and 6 females, all non-inbred, with an excellent pedigree.
Requirements:
A - The animals must not be the result of inbreeding
B - They must be accompanied by a certificate issued by a government agency or a government veterinary authority attesting to their breed (preferably with a pedigree)
C - To ensure the long-term productivity and biosecurity of the herd, the selection must strictly meet the following criteria:
1. Prevention of inbreeding: All 6 animals must come from unrelated bloodlines.
2. Health status: In addition to standard TRACES export certificates (compliant with current regulations regarding bluetongue), I require negative results from individual laboratory tests for paratuberculosis (Johne’s disease), CAE (caprine arthritis-encephalitis), and caseous lymphadenitis (CLA).
Finally, managing the transport of small shipments is logistically complex; since our company is located in central Italy, we believe the most cost-effective way to reach us is by truck, at least for the last leg of the journey. Please let us know if you work with or can recommend companies specializing in livestock transport (Type 2 certified) that regularly handle consolidated shipments to Italy, so that we can organize the entire shipment or at least the transport of the goats to an CEE terminal (preferably in Italy).
If necessary, we will arrange the transport ourselves.
We look forward to your reply.
Best regards.
