Buyer Looking For Black Tea

We are currently looking for reliable manufacturers or exporters of packed black tea Grade PD or PF1 for import into the Egyptian market. The initial requirement is 2 x 40FT containers, and we prefer suppliers from COMESA countries where possible in order to optimize import duties and overall landed cost.

The tea should be packed in 40g inner packs and placed inside 10kg or 20kg master cartons. The product must be free from foreign materials, added colouring and pathogenic microorganisms, with moisture not exceeding 8%, total ash between 4% and 8%, water-soluble ash of at least 45%, acid-insoluble sediment not exceeding 1%, and crude fiber not exceeding 16.5%. Packaging and labelling should comply with applicable Egyptian import and food standards, including product name, net weight, origin, production and expiry dates, trademark and importer information.

Delivery is required on CIF Alexandria Port, Egypt basis. Our target price is around USD 2.00/kg CIF Alexandria. Payment terms are 90 days from the B/L date, with payment made by T/T to the supplier’s bank account. Qualified suppliers are invited to provide their detailed quotation, product specifications, country of origin, packing details, production capacity and relevant certifications for evaluation.
