Special Fish Group operates in the fresh and frozen fish trade and has handled direct imports from European and non-European suppliers for many years, distributing throughout Central and Southern Italy to fish markets, large wholesalers, catering groups, and major retail distributors.
We are currently expanding our sourcing network for Manila clams. Since May 2025, we have been importing weekly volumes of Manila clams from British Columbia to Italy, and we are looking to increase our supply. We would therefore appreciate information from your company regarding your availability and conditions for export.
In particular, we kindly request:
• Product specifications
• Shipping days and expected arrival schedule
Prices on a CIF Rome Airport basis
Minimum order quantities and weekly availability
Our intention is to arrange an initial sample shipment, with the perspective of establishing a structured and increasing supply over time, including potential inclusion of other products if available.
Special Fish Group is fully familiar with EU veterinary import procedures for bivalve molluscs and is equipped to coordinate all required documentation, border veterinary inspections, and customs clearance in Italy, ensuring a smooth and compliant import process.
