Amerizon Wireless Group has acquired 18 two-way radio sales and service locations throughout 7 States, from Mobex Communications. These locations sell and service a variety of equipment including Nextel, Motorola, Comnet Ericsson, Kenwood, EF Johnson, Cerulean, DataRadio, and more. The acquisition included all assets of the organizations, including UHF repeaters and paging facilities and associated revenues, over 160 employees, and a large pool of UHF spectrum throughout 10 States.

Beyond traditional radio, the retail locations have a diversified portfolio of wireless offerings including mobile data, Cisco Networking Products, automatic vehicle location, telemetry, SCADA, satellite and cellular/Nextel solutions which they market to the various industrial business customers who need to manage mobile equipment and work groups. Most of these can be sold in a way to achieve lucrative recurring revenue over extended periods of time
