After pioneering and leading the air purifier industry for fifteen years, austin air maintains the largest air purifier manufactureing facility in the world. Everything is done in house; from the filter, to the final assembly, to the metal forming, to the powdercoating to the final assembly. Austin air submits it's product to only the most stringent government and independant third party testing. Extensive tests on flow rate, flow design, removal of vapors, gases and sub-micron particles have been perfomed by: Battelle labratories; one of the worlds most respected testing laboratories. The army corp of engineers at the u. S. army Aberdeen test center. As a result of these tests, austin air was chosen by the US government to fulfill the largest deployment of air purifiers in US history and chosen by fema and the red cross to address the serious air quality concerns in post 9 / 11 New York.
