The plastic bottle recycling plant of SR Schwarzataler Recycling GmbH is the largest of its kind in Germany, designed with state of the art technology. At the end of reprocessing there are types of plastic with a purity of 98 percent for the further processing to regranulate of flakes in Eisfeld. About 160 employees are working here in a 4 shift system on a site of nearly 22.000 m2. SR Schwarzataler Recycling use a revolutionary process of a closed cycle whereby the daily loss of water of the total system is less than 1.000 litres.
