Thainox Stainless Public Company Limited (ThaiNox), Thailand’s manufacturer and distributor of premium cold-rolled stainless steel sheets and coils, was founded on 30 July 1990 as a BOI-promoted joint venture of the world’s leading steel industry groups from France (Arcelor), Japan (Nippon Steel), and Thailand (Mr. Prayudh Mahagitsiri). Since its establishment, we have increased our domestic and global market share considerably – at an annual compounded growth rate of 20%. The company supplies 60% of its premium-quality stainless steel products for applications in various industries within the country, and exports 40% of its output to more than 30 countries across the globe through the strong network of Arcelor Stainless International (ASI) and South Korea’s POSCO – leader in the global steel and stainless steel industry. Currently, we possesses an annual production capacity of 200, 000 tons which is expanding to 300, 000 tons in an attempt to better serve the company’s customers as well as support its growth and rising demands for stainless steel consumption. Our high quality of flat cold-rolled stainless steel can be categorized into austenitic and ferritic grades. Each grade consists of a broad range of stainless steel products that come in different types of surface finishes, thickness, and width, thus providing customers with endless possibilities of applications, such as kitchenware, building decoration, tubes, parts of vehicles, medical equipment, containers and electrical appliances.
