The State Joint Stock Foreign Trade Company was established in 1994 and operates in the system of the Ministry foreign economic relations, investments and trade of the Republic Uzbekistan.The main sphere of activity of Company includes carrying out of export-import operations, provision of intermediary and consulting services and attraction of foreign investments through creation of joint ventures both within the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan and abroad. Company has experience of working in the sphere of international trade and represents one of the biggest foreign trade companies of the Republic with the annual turnover exceeding about 1 billion dollars. Most of the turnover comprises export of cotton trading, annual export of which exceeds 300 thousands metric tons. The nomenclature of export of the Company is becoming wider every year at the expense of non cotton production.Long-term experience of Company&＃39;s cooperation with the Far abroad and South East Asia countries expand export of a cotton fibre&＃39;s geography.The company cooperates with firms and companies, and also direct supplies to consumers of a cotton fibre of following countries and regions:- Eastern and south-Eastern Asia (more particularly China, South Korea, Bangladesh, Singapore, Malaysia)- Russia- European countries The activity of Company is also concluded in export of cotton yarn and fabrics, ready textile products, fresh, dry and canned fruits and vegetables, construction materials, non-ferrous metals, corn product as well as import of equipment and modern technology.The volume of non-cotton product&＃39;s export are increasing and extending export geography year by year.Company carries out export: agricultural products, textile products, cement, copper products. Company on continuing basis gives support to the enterprises ? exporters of Republic Uzbekistan on promotion of out put products for export.
