Dear Sir/Madam, We are currently in need of sourcing Wood Chips for Particleboard production to be exported to China. The specifications required for the wood chips are as follows: - Type of Wood: Any wood type is acceptable, including miscellaneous wood with bark. - Processing: The whole tree with the bark intact. - Size: Segments with a diameter less than 3 cm should not exceed 5%. Pieces with a diameter over 3 cm and a length of 4-7 cm are preferred. - Sawdust Content: Should not exceed 5%. - Quality: Strict elimination of unusable impurities such as metal, stone, sand, and other contaminants. Any content exceeding 1% of the total shipped quantity shall be deducted. - Quantity: - Weifang Port: 15,000 BDMT per vessel (30,000 BDMT per month, 2 vessels) - Tianjin Port: 20,000 BDMT per vessel (30,000 BDMT per month, 3 vessels in 2-month span) - Total Quantity: 15,000 - 20,000 metric tons monthly - Trade Term: CIF to Weifang Port and Tianjin Port, China - Payment Term: L/C at sight after a 2% performance bond is set up. We kindly request you to provide us with the CIF price from your port to Weifang Port and Tianjin Port in China based on the outlined specifications. Our target price is $90 per metric ton.
