EUROPEAN SPRUCE
Spruces are originally from mountain regions in America and in Europe. Spruces are not very resistant to heat and drought. Long-term water shortage weakens the trees. For the last 3 years due to a combination of drought, excessive heat, severe storms and an infestation of the Spruce Bark Beetle, Millions of hectares in Europe has fallen.
Therefore, with the local government forests owners, are looking to solve this issue, by cleaning the areas and exporting the logs to the Asian market. These combined efforts are to trying to avoid strong Beetle infestation and fires during the summer.
Species: Spruce logs
Standard Length: 3.9 m, 5.9 m or 11.80 m long
Measurement: m3 JAS, Hubber or per ton on the logs under 20 cm SED
- 14 cm to 20 cm SED (Small end diameter)
- 20 cm to 30 cm SED (Small end diameter)
- 30 cm to 60 cm SED (Small end diameter)
Sales terms: LC or Advance payment (60 days payment for preapproved buyers)
Min Volume: 450m3 for trial
Average LC 3.000m3 for container loading
