Wood Chips – Softwood

Softwood Wood Chips — premium-grade technological raw material designed for the production of pulp, paper, paperboard, and engineered wood products. Manufactured from pine, spruce, larch, and cedar sourced from ecologically clean forests of the Russian Far East. We are the only enterprise of our kind in the Russian Far East.

Our wood chips comply with international quality standards (GOST 15815-90, ISO 9001) and are specifically optimized to meet the requirements of pulp and paper mills (P&PMs) in Russia, China, and South Korea.

MOISTURE CONTENT: - Minimum: 15% (dry basis) - Preferred range: 15-40% (natural moisture of fresh wood) - Uniformity: Must be consistent throughout batch. No dry spots (<20%) or overly wet areas (>65%).

PARTICLE SIZE DISTRIBUTION: - ≤5% oversize chips (≥40mm length) - ≥85% main fraction (≥9.5mm to <40mm) - ≤6% medium fraction (≥4.8mm to <9.5mm) - ≤3% fines (<4.8mm) - 90% of chips must be thick 5-8mm - ≤10% may have thickness ≥8mm - Testing method: GOST 15815-83 "Wood chips for pulp and board production" or mill standards

QUALITY PARAMETERS: - Origin: Sound wood (logs, pulpwood) - Bark content: - Pine/spruce: ≤1.0% by weight - Fir/larch: ≤0.5% by weight - Method: GOST 23246-78 - Decay: ≤1% by volume (visual). Active decay is prohibited. - Fungal stains: Surface blue stain permitted if inactive. Active mold is prohibited. - Contaminants: - Mineral impurities (sand, clay): ≤0.3% - Metal inclusions: Strictly prohibited - Foreign materials (plastic, rubber, etc.): Prohibited - Chemical contaminants: Prohibited
