Business Description

A&A Trading is a family-owned and operated BC-based forestry company specializing in all aspects of the forest industry, from planning and operations to marketing and product delivery.

We are driven by a professional and relationship-focused group of people that thrive on respect, transparency, innovation and entrepreneurialism.

We are proud of the value our team brings to the forests we manage and to the partners and clients we represent.

A&A Trading offers professional services for all stages of your project. We specialize in forest management: planning and engineering, road and bridge building, harvesting and silviculture, as well as marketing: optimizing timber value through meticulous quality control, hands-on supervision, experienced marketing, and expertise in exports, logistics, and transportation.

CONGRATULATIONS TO CHAD GALLIGOS FOR HIS SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF HIS CLASS 1 DRIVERS LICENSE

As a part of our Indigenous Engagement Strategy – Nation Building – Career Development, A&A Trading reached out to the Tla’amin Nation about opportunities to collaborate on career development or programs. Adam Culos (General Manager – Thichum Forest Products) suggested that training a nation member to drive a logging truck would be beneficial and that the successful applicant may have a position waiting with Thichum upon completion of the required training. A&A worked with Adam to source funding and selected Chad Galligos from several applicants to receive training towards a Class 1 driver’s license.

During the summer of 2023, Chad completed eight weeks of training, culminating in his successful exam on October 31st, 2023. Funding for the course was sourced by A&A through the North Vancouver Island Aboriginal Training Society, with travel costs split between the Tla’amin Nation and A&A Trading. Chad will begin working with Thichum by driving a dump truck and will eventually work towards driving a logging truck in the future.

Business Overview

Avg Response Time

≤ 1h

A&A TRADING CO.LTD offers a wide range of products including coffee, frozen chicken, frozen seafood, sorghum, and rice — giving buyers access to diverse supply options in one place. The company's ability to supply both food and agricultural products makes it a good fit for buyers looking to source multiple items from a single supplier. However, no email, phone, or business documents have been verified, which raises concerns about legitimacy and trust. Buyers should request additional proof before placing large orders or sharing sensitive requirements. Without verified contact details or documents, it's harder to confirm the company's real operations or address issues quickly. This lack of verification is common among smaller or new trading companies, but it increases risk for international buyers. Always verify identity before engaging with any supplier, especially when dealing with high-value or perishable goods.
