ACEITERA-GENERAL-DEHEZA-S-A and its affiliated companies constitute an integrated agro-industrial complex whose main activities include the manufacture of plant proteins in the form of flours and pellets, the production of vegetable oils, biodiesel, and refined glycerin. The industrial group has a network of collection points and purchasing offices distributed across eight Argentine provinces: Córdoba, Chaco, Santa Fe, Buenos Aires, Tucumán, Salta, Santiago del Estero, and Entre Ríos. The organization’s industrial structure comprises seven facilities located in three provinces: Córdoba, Santa Fe, and San Luis.

The operation of ACEITERA-GENERAL-DEHEZA and its affiliates is organized into four business units. Among the most relevant activities of the Agricultural Business Unit (UNAGRO) are the planting of oilseeds and cereals, technical assistance, provision of fertilizers, agrochemicals, and seeds to partner producers, as well as cattle raising and intensive pig breeding. This unit was created to introduce high-quality finished products into the Argentine market aimed at the end consumer, forming part of the company’s significant export strategy. Innovations in technology and strategic focus in the peanut sector have resulted in a privileged position, with approximately 25% of the edible peanuts Argentina sells globally being exported by AGD and its related companies. The Cereal and Oilseeds Business Unit (UNCO) focuses on seed origin, oilseed milling, oil refining, and marketing of oils, by-products, and cereals for local and international markets.
