For us, incense is the art of fragrance, expertly crafted by artisans. Incense sticks have been used all over the world, in different religious and spiritual contexts for thousands of years to calm the mind, set a space for meditation and to appreciate evocative aromas.
This month's featured incense are Kyukyodo's incense rolls, featuring exquisite blends made with a variety of natural woods, spices and florals. These are elegant sticks with a distinctive sweet quality, typical of Kyukyodo's blends.

I finally ordered every fragrance from this brand. The perfumes are delicate yet powerful and so well balanced. I especially like this blend. Also order and delivery went smoothly. Thanks lotus zen for your service and beautiful selection.
An immediate favourite. A stand-out in this range for me. Lets the sandalwood shine, with its many notes. I don't like florals but I do like it when woods give floral-like notes, which this does at times. The most similar to this is Tennendo Kohrokan but this is lighter and airier (not weaker) where the Tennendo is thicker and drier. Love them both and I like to have variety but this is my favourite. This sits alongside Minorien Agarwood and Baieido Tokusen Konunboku as absolute must-haves.
Absolutely love this. This is the first incense I have smelled that reminds me of actual agar wood chips burning. It’s subtle one of these tiny sticks is enough to fill a room.
I’m hoping to get my hands on the Kyara Ryugen next but Lotus Zen doesn’t stock that.
I would encourage anyone curious about real aloeswood to try this. The box is really elegant and would make a great gift.
The delivery was prompt and packaged well. Will be using this company again!
I though this would be sweeter, but was happily surprised by its gentle aroma. It's very calming and delicious, without being imposing. I'll buy it again.
This is one of my favourite. Calm, soft, slightly sweet, not overly spicey. A bit stronger than Safu.
I love this one. Calm, delicate, soft scent, very low smoke. I will buy it again.
Sandalwood is such a rich fragrance & these incense do not disappoint. 45 mins of pure indulgence is heaven. I light 2 incense’s on a daily basis, part of my regime & to smell these very well made products, enlightens my day. It is very important to light one this month, to appease the Hungry Ghosts & to protect. ☯️
Such a classy fragrance that burns for at least 45mins & in that time, I can say my prayers in my sacred corner, especially this month to appease the Hungry Ghosts. Really worth the money. This is the only site I get my incense from. Such a very good quick & safe service. Thank you 🙏🏼 ☯️

Excellent incense - excellent presentation and delivery
A beautiful delicate fragrance that will fill your home. Really high quality incence. I would highly recommend
After studying Japanese incense a little more (I knew this back when I wrote the first review but I just worded it wrong), Japanese houses usually 9.9x out of 10 use real Aloeswood/Agarwood/Oud. There is only 1 company (that I know of) that has a Synthetic Oil range of Japanese incense sticks, and even that house has more ranges that use real, natural ingredients than synthetic oils. These sticks use real Thai and Indonesian aloeswood* correction to my review that says that they smell "very close to...", they do have the real deal in them, just like 9.9x out of 10 of the Japanese houses that do as well. That is what Japan incense houses are good for, they use real natural ingredients and raw fragrant woods as their main fragrance.
These sticks from memory are very, very nice. Need to get another box.
Just in receipt of this beautiful, rich, dense incense. Quality at its best. It has now become one of my many favourites. Love this company. One of the best for choice, pricing & quick delivery. Thank you Luke ☯️
