SITA Group was established by the Agrawal Brothers in 1965, a time that coincides with the onset of the First Green Revolution in India. Rice, the staple diet was then destined for revolutionary changes in terms of increased acreage and production. This was the period when the Agrawal Brothers felt the need to end the green fields to be a part of this revolution, a sincere effort to encounter the food safety challenges of the 60's. New procedures and practices were adopted without compromising on the traditional varieties that were harnessed for decades by the 'adivasis' of the Chhattisgarh region of India.

Today, it has been more than four decades that the group has emerged as one of the biggest producer of rice & edible oils in the country and has established a potential goodwill in the field of rice & oil business in India.

The company is managed by professional & qualified personnel and is backed by 8 manufacturing centers in the region engaged in the processing and exports of parboiled rice, white rice, aromatic rice; extraction and refining of Rice Bran Oil & Soyabean Oil and Dealership, Distributorship and C&F Agents of various companies.

The Group has a market presence in All-Over India and has been supplying Rice & Oil to corporate like Wal-Mart, Metro, Reliance Fresh, Aditya Birla Group, Pepsico, Marico, Jubilant Group, Big Bazaar, TELCO & TISCO.

We believe in the famous saying "well begin is half done". At SITA, at the time of procurement of raw material, a sample is drawn from each bag so as to form a final sample representing the entire lot of raw material. Only when the sample is found to be commensurate with the strict norms of the quality control measures the said is accepted for production.

Similarly, during the production phase each and every care is taken to assure that predetermined factors like time , temperature , moisture level and heat etc. are maintained to obtain the desired quality of the final product.

Before packing the final product , samples are drawn on a predetermined time basis to assure that product to be packed have met all quality norms
