Chia seed is a high-demand functional ingredient used in health foods and dietary supplements, especially in the US and UK markets. Shipping on FOB terms means the buyer is responsible for freight once goods leave the port of Mombasa, which is common in African exports but requires clear communication about loading and documentation. Being based in Bahrain gives access to regional trade routes and logistics hubs, though the port of loading is in Kenya, not Bahrain, which may affect transit times and customs handling. The verified account email adds a layer of trust, while the lack of work email verification could make it harder to confirm contact details with buyers. The export markets include the US, UAE, and UK — all key buyers of health and wellness products — so the company is targeting high-value, growing segments. Buyers should confirm that the chia seed is processed to meet international food safety standards, especially for export to the US and UK, where regulations are strict.
