Alternative Selection is the first wholesaler and retailer of alternative gourmet, organic, allergen and preservative free specialty foods in Singapore. Products and services offered include full comprehensive range of organic meat (beef, lamb and chicken), full comprehensive range of free-range meat (beef, lamb, pork and game meat), value added meat products alongside gluten-free pastries, superfood, sauces and condiments.

The company provides a broad range of food services, from customization of small goods like sausages, meat patties, meatballs, meat platters and meat marinations, to comprehensive development of gluten free menus for acclaimed restaurants and hotels in Singapore. Australian Certified Organic (ACO)

The first in Singapore to be declared Australian Certified Organic (ACO), one of the most rigorous certifications in the world, Alternative Selection ensures that its products are free from human-made fertilisers, pesticides, growth regulators, and genetically-modified food (GMO), and processed in the same manner as well. Rather than simply establishing the organic characteristics of their source produce, the certification also means that the facility takes one step further by ensuring all other ingredients used in the production process are organic; even separate equipment, cleaning products, and tools are used in order to avoid cross contamination with non-organic substances. In order for the certification to be awarded, the facility needs to undergo an extensive process of stringent audits and full declaration of the operations and production plan. It is no wonder that ACO is commonly known as the gold standard of organic certifications in the world, and what consumers should look for when buying ‘truly organic’ products.
