Ankole Coffee Producers Cooperative Union (ACPCU) is a second-grade producer organization with membership of primary cooperative societies and a number of individual farmer members. The union officially started trading in 2008.  ACPCU is Fairtrade, Organic, (EU, NOP, JAS), Naturland , Rainforest Alliance, ISO 22000 and UNBS certified. Consequently, from 2008 ACPCU has registered a steady upward trajectory in both volumes of coffee purchases and exports making it Uganda’s leading farmer owned producer/exporter of green coffee.

Known for its Fairtrade and Organic certified coffee, ACPCU LTD is a coffee processing and exporting organization situated in, Sheema Municipality, along Mbarara Kasese highway in South Western Uganda. It is exclusively owned by farmers and is registered under the cooperatives Act.
