name Surya Marine Exports started processing of seafood as a merchant packer
managed by Surya Rao Irrinki as Managing Partner in 1998. A brand name that resonates
with fresh and tasty aquatic food, Surya Premium needs no special introduction. The
company started with a small beginning in the year 1998 exporting sea-food to Japan.

With 20 yrs of experience & knowledge, Suryamitra has been able to export products internationally & now it is one of the top 10 US shrimp exporters from India

Being located in a high shrimp-producing state, Suryamitra has been able to use their proximity to resources to close to 40 tons to raw material everyday.

In addition to multiple processing units, Suryamitra also owns a hatchery in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, which can gather up to 45 million seed per cycle & allows local farmers grow with fresh, reliable products.

Due to very meticulous sorting and processing of our shrimp, here at Suryamitra, has been approved by BRC, FDA, FSSAI, many other social audits, and is 4-star certified by BAP.

The constructed area of the plant is 24,000sq ft equipped with latest machinery, with more than 2500 people working it daily. Because of this, Suryamitra is able to buy and process nearly 60 tons everyday.

The vicinity of Suryamitra contain of two processing factory units, which consist of 2 SS Grading Machines, 2 Glory IQF Machines, 6 Block Plate Freezers, 2 Marel Cookers, and 2 Multihead Weighers.

The company has secured the best stall award in the food and retail outlet, using Suryamitra's domestic brand, Aquadiet at “INFISH -2010 “ organized by National Fisheries Development Board of Hyderabad.

Suryamitra was also awarded with "2nd best stall" for value-added product display at International Seafood Fair 2007 in Cochin.
