ARDGOWAN DISTILLERY COMPANY LIMITED

At Ardgowan Distillery, we believe that truly exceptional whisky is crafted from five ingredients: fresh spring water, malted barley, yeast, the skill of great whisky makers—and, most importantly, time. Time enhances aroma, deepens colour, and perfects taste, giving each whisky its unique character.

Founded by a passionate group of Scotch whisky enthusiasts and professionals, Ardgowan Distillery was created to champion quality over speed. While many distilleries rush to market due to shareholder pressures, we prioritise the patience required to craft one of the world’s finest whiskies.

With a vision backed by over £20 million in investment, we’re building a state-of-the-art, carbon-negative distillery set for completion in early 2025. This innovative facility will embody our commitment to sustainability while preserving the traditional craftsmanship that defines Scotch whisky.

Under the expertise of Master Blender Max McFarlane, we’re carefully laying down malt whisky sourced from across Scotland. By curating and bottling only when each cask is truly ready, we give every drop of spirit the time it deserves to transform from good whisky into something exceptional.
