Business Description

ASALAH Trading Sdn. Bhd. imports and exports premium Saudi dates from our base in Kuala Lumpur. Our director has traded dates in Saudi Arabia for over forty years, and that sourcing network is the foundation of the company.

What sets us apart

We buy at source in Al-Qassim and Al-Madinah and import under our own company. We do not buy from other importers or repack third-party stock, so we can tell any buyer the variety, region, grade and packing date of what they are receiving. Sukkari is held in stock in Malaysia, ready to ship with no import lead time. Other varieties, including Ajwa, Safawi, Medjool, Mabroom, Mariami and Rotab, are supplied against our scheduled shipments from Jeddah.

Who we supply

Wholesalers, retailers, supermarkets, food service, hotels, mosques and corporate gifting clients in Malaysia. We also welcome export enquiries from Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Central Asia and Australia, shipping FOB Jeddah or FOB Port Klang.

A company operating since 2025 is still in its early stages and may not have a long track record to build buyer trust. With gross revenue between 5-10 million USD, it's a small-scale business that likely serves niche or regional markets. Being a distributor, wholesaler, or trading company means it may act as a middleman, which can help buyers access products without direct manufacturing costs. The fact that the account email and phone are verified adds a layer of credibility, showing at least basic identity confirmation. However, the lack of verified work email could be a red flag — buyers may not be able to reach the right person for questions or orders. A small workforce of 1-10 people suggests limited internal capacity, which could affect order fulfillment speed or support availability. For buyers, this means the company may need more due diligence to confirm reliability and operational stability.
