Every Saturday he distributes food and donates money to the to the baggers in Varanasi. Every Years he distributes food, house hold items and donate money to the leprosy patients in Puri, Bankura and to the poorest of the poor persons in Nabadweep.

123 year old Sivananda Baba is being awarded prestigious Yoga Ratna Award by Shwaasa Yoga Guru Swami Bachanananda on 20th June evening, 2019 at Bengaluru.
