Assan Aluminyum, a group company of Kibar Holding, was established to have operations in aluminium flat rolled products sector in 1987. Assan Aluminyum, developing its own technology and continuously renovating its production processes in accordance with its needs, is today a world technology leader in continuous thin gauge casting technology. It has the worlds largest capacity in thin gauge continuous casting, the worlds widest casting capability, one of Europes widest cold rolling mills and again one of Europes widest tension leveling lines.Assan Aluminyum has 2 facilities in two nearby districts, Tuzla and Dilovasi. Its Tuzla-Istanbul Facility is located within a total area of 370.000 m2 of which 86.000 m2 is covered, and Dilovasi-Izmit Facility is located within a total area of 164.000 m2 of which 51.000 m2 is covered. Assan Aluminyum has capacity to produce 175.000 tons/year coil and sheet products with a maximum width of 2250 mm, and 75.000 tons/year foil products with a maximum width of 1600 mm, reaching to a total capacity of 250.000 tons/year in both of its facilities.Assan Aluminyum exports 60% of its products to more than 60 countries all over the world. It extends its product range more and more, pioneering the development of new ideas and applications through extensive R&D studies conducted together with the universities and other research companies. It succeeds in the production of various flat rolled aluminium products required globally in alloys of 1000-3000-5000-6000-8000 series within a thickness range of minimum 6.35 microns and maximum 4 mm. It mainly serves distribution, construction, transportation, consumer durables and packaging sectors.
