Company Expansion
Austria Pet Food is an absolute specialist for producing dog and cat food in cans. Austria Pet Food expands its management team from October 1, 2023, with Andreas Obermayr. Andreas Obermayr will strengthen the team as a second managing director and CCO (Chief Commercial Officer) from October 1, 2023, and will jointly lead the company with Bernd Berghofer.

Austria Pet Food celebrates its 10-year anniversary and groundbreaking for production expansion. On Friday, April 14, 2023, Austria Pet Food celebrated its 10th anniversary with an event. Simultaneously, groundbreaking started for a comprehensive production expansion. Austria Pet Food is focusing on an expanding and highly interesting segment with its new Pate line.

The company operates Europe's most modern production facility as an exclusive private-label manufacturer and emphasizes sustainable product quality "Made in Austria". Since its founding, Austria Pet Food has grown significantly, with nearly 1 billion cans filled and sold worldwide, becoming a leading industry operation in Burgenland. The current annual turnover is approximately 52 million euros, employing just under 100 staff members. The company is supported by an investor group including Athena Burgenland Beteiligungen AG, Pet Food Holding GmbH & Co KG, Mr. Otto Bruckner, Mühldorfer Nutrition AG, and the management.
