Business Description
An industry leader in Sustainable spices, AVT McCormick is a 50:50 joint venture between A.V.Thomas & Company and McCormick & Company. Over the last 25 years we have become a preferred partner of choice among our customers.
Backed by a sustainable sourcing model, scientific farming and world class manufacturing, our products meet the increasing consumer demand for safer, healthier and more sustainable food.
At AVT McCORMICK we believe that we have the power to leave a positive impact on the lives of all our stakeholders and the world around us.
We grow when everybody grows. Our philosophy is not limited to people but the environment and the whole ecological system in which we operate. At AVT McCormick we call it the ‘Collective Wellbeing’.
The questions that we answer every day at work are what to grow ? How to grow ? How much to grow? And the most difficult question of them all - at what cost to the planet ?
The answers to these everyday questions all point towards one thing - that nature, communities, and corporations all flourish, together. We truly believe in this and everything we do is intended to bring about a positive change in the lives of our farmers, local communities, end-customers, and last but not the least, our planet.
We understand that the quality of food you eat decides the quality of your life. Our relentless focus on sustainable technologies and farming practices, the transparency we maintain, the safe production processes adopted and now our entry into organic spices are few reasons why the leading food manufacturers have placed their trust in us.
Our experience has been that whenever we have shared our knowledge and collaborated meaningfully with our farmers, suppliers and customers we have been able to unlock significant new value that benefits us both. Knowledge sharing is now a part of our culture and we believe in sharing things we have learnt over the years so that it benefits one and all, even beyond our organization and network.
We are always looking for new things in spices. Our new product development team is busy developing new and exciting flavors for customers all over the world. Our foray into fresh produce is the latest in these efforts.
