ASearch for products with good export potential led Acme to CastorOil derivatives. India is the largest producer and also exporter ofCastor Oil in the world. This gives a price / logistical advantage toManufacturers of products based on Castor Oil. Acme standardisedTechnology for the Cracking of Castor Oil. Acme started exportingUndecylenic Acid and selling Heptaldehyde locally. Today it has aManufacturing set-up of 250 tons of undecylenic Acid per annum. ItsUndecylenic Acid is exported all over the world both in Drums andISO Tanks. Acme has established a track record of supplying qualityProducts at fair prices, on time. Later Acme developed technologyFor the manufacture of Perfumery Chemicals such as C-11 Aldehyde, C-11 Alcohol and C-14 Aldehyde of international quality. All theseProducts use Undecylenic Acid as a starting raw material. Right now Acme's R& D team is working on developing world classManufacturing technologies for the downstream products ofUndecylenic Acid and Heptaldehyde, all of which have a very goodExport market.
